All of this can be done by using a Raspberry Pi. After-all it is supposed to be better than all those hubs! At the same time it should be really flexible and expandable. What hardware do you need for your own smart home server/hubīuilding your own server should be as cheap and easy as possible. I will guide you through the process in this article. It can interface with most smart home systems, gives you full control over all devices in one App via open source smart home controllers and can run pretty much any software you like. If you have some basic IT knowledge there is a much much better way: building your own smart home server. Well unless you count the smart speakers/assistants but those have different problems (foremost the privacy issues). Currently the smart home market is very fragmented, with few systems playing well together. ![]() Your smart home folder on your smartphone gets bigger and bigger… So instead you start combining different ecosystems and suddenly you have a Hue bridge, a Tradfri gateway, maybe also smart things and much more. Being stuck with one brand is boring, expensive and very limiting. If you are like me then you like to play with a lot of smart home technology and IoT devices. After successfully accessing the web interface using the device’s IP address, you can install and configure various plugins as well as control your HomeBridge accessories onto your browser.Aggregated logs Why you should build your own smart home server/hub Setting up HomeBridge on Raspberry Pi is pretty simple and you can do it in a few minutes using the above step-by-step instructions. HomeBridge is a software hub that provides an easy-to-use web interface for Raspberry Pi users to manage and control their smart home devices anywhere. You can also add this to Apple Home by scanning the QR code. Using this interface, you can easily install different plugins as well as modify your HomeBridge configuration. This will open the HomeBridge dashboard on your browser and there you will be able to see the information about your Raspberry Pi device. Now, click on the “ OPEN DASHBOARD” button. In the following screen, you will need to create your account first after filling in the required information and then click on the “ CREATE ACCOUNT” button to complete the process. Step 3: Accessing the Web Interface of HomeBridgeĪfter successfully installing HomeBridge on Raspberry Pi, you can access the web interface by using one of the links that appear in the below output. $ sudo hb-service install -user homebridge However, to install the latest version, you must add the official node.js repository to the Raspberry Pi packages list using the following command: You can perform the HomeBridge installation on Raspberry Pi using the following steps: Step 1: Install Node.JS on Raspberry PiĪs HomeBridge is a NodeJS server, so you must install node.js on your Raspberry Pi device. This article guides you with the set-up process to install HomeBridge on your Raspberry Pi device. The HomeBridge uses the web interface to manage all your device activities, so you will require to set it up by installing a few dependencies to make it accessible on your browser. Thus, it’s a perfect opportunity for the iPhone and Raspberry Pi users to install this bridge on their Raspberry Pi devices to integrate their smart home devices. It allows you to manage your smart home devices that HomeKit does not usually support. ![]() Mimikatz is a Windows x32/圆4 program coded in C by Benjamin Delpy in 2007 to learn more about Windows credentials (and as a Proof of Concept). The Mimikatz GitHub repository is in English and includes useful information on command usage. Since the author of Mimikatz, Benjamin Delpy, is French most of the resources describing Mimikatz usage is in French, at least on his blog. In fact I consider Mimikatz to be the “Swiss army knife” (or multi-tool) of Windows credentials – that one tool that can do everything. Mimikatz is one of the best tools to gather credential data from Windows systems. His work has greatly improved the security of Windows, especially Windows 10. Many thanks to Benjamin Delpy for writing and continuously updating Mimikatz. All of the information on this page is derived from using Mimikatz, reading the source code, conversations with Benjamin, his Twitter, blog & GitHub pages, and my own work/research.Īny errors on this page are my own only. I did not write Mimikatz and therefore have no special insight. This page and all content contained within is not to be reproduced in whole or part without express written consent by this page’s author. In other words, don’t pen-test/red-team systems with Mimikatz without a “get out of jail free card”. Do NOT use Mimikatz on computers you don’t own or have been allowed/approved to. This information is provided to help organizations better understand Mimikatz capability and is not to be used for unlawful activity. The best Mimikatz documentation is the source code. With that noted, this page will never be as up-to-date as the Mimikatz github. While I will continue to post articles to about different aspects of Mimikatz usage, I plan to keep this as updated and as comprehensive as possible. There are several I haven’t delved fully into, but expect to in the near future. This page details as best as possible what each command is, how it works, the rights required to run it, the parameters (required & optional), as well as screenshots and additional context (where possible). I developed this reference after speaking with a lot of people, hired to both defend and attack networks, I learned that outside of a few of the mot frequently used Mimikatz commands, not many knew about the full capability of Mimikatz. This way both Red & Blue teams better understand the full capability and are better able to secure the enterprises they are hired to protect. I plan to update as I can with additional content about the most useful commands. It seems like many people on both sides of the fence, Red & Blue, aren’t familiar with most of Mimikatz’s capabilities, so I put together this information on all the available commands I could find. Pittsburgh entered the game having been either tied or trailing going into the third period in each of their first 12 contests. Tristan Jarry made a series of big stops late and a pair of empty-net goals by Zach Aston-Reese and Sidney Crosby helped the Penguins pull away for a 6-3 victory over the somewhat rusty Washington Capitals on Sunday. Forced to protect a rare third-period lead, they didn't let the opportunity go to waste. ![]() It’s something special about this group and we just got to keep going.PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Penguins have stayed afloat by showing a remarkable ability to rally late. We’ve shown it throughout the year, throughout this series. It’s honestly one of the biggest reasons why we’re here today. Everyone wants success for the guy sitting next to you. “The guys that we have in there, I feel like it’s a big family,” Zibanejad said. But when it’s in your nature, it tends to go your way. The Penguins had their chances in the third period, as did the Rangers. Charles Wenzelberg/New York PostĬharged with stepping in for Crosby, who sat with a suspected concussion, Penguins center Evgeni Malkin picked off a weak pass from Jacob Trouba and buried one on a breakaway under Shesterkin’s glove to tie it up 3-3 with just under 3:30 left in the period. Igor Shesterkin makes a save during the Rangers’ Game 6 win over the Penguins. The Rangers then had momentum on their side, and when they earned another power-play opportunity, goalie Igor Shesterkin sprung Zibanejad with a ridiculous stretch pass that ended up with Kreider finishing the play for the Rangers’ first lead of the night, 3-2, at 13:48 of the second period. ![]() That goal opened the floodgates for Zibanejad, who blasted a one-timer from the top of the left circle 1:16 later to knot the score 2-2. ![]() The Rangers made quick work of their first power play of the night, with Zibanejad scoring his first of the series just over five minutes into the second period. Ryan Lindgren got away with a cross check on Evan Rodrigues into the boards and the Penguins winger was hit with a roughing penalty for retaliating. Whether we’re down, whether we’re up, trying to get to our game, trying to play the same way.”Īfter the Rangers were severely outplayed in the opening 20 minutes and falling into a 2-0 hole due to goals from Jeff Carter and Bryan Rust, their power play sparked one of the classic comebacks that have been part of the club’s identity all year. “Regardless of the situation, I’m proud of the way this team competes. “I think it’s been a long time coming for us,” Kreider said. The Rangers celebrate after Mika Zibanejad’s goal in the second period. “We’ve been able to come together as a team through hard times over the course of the year - over the course of the last couple years,” said Kreider, who scored the game-winning goal with 1:28 left in the third period on a long shot that popped over Penguins goalie Louis Domingue and in before Andrew Copp’s empty-netter sealed the deal with 27 seconds to go. There were the Rangers, playing like the one-for-all, all-for-one team they had been all through the regular season. Chris Kreider (right) celebrates after the Rangers’ go-ahead goal in the third period. ![]() There was the Rangers’ power play (the version from the regular season and not from the previous five games), which scored twice in big moments. There was Mika Zibanejad, who had been a non-factor for a majority of the series due to his matchup with Crosby and the rest of Pittsburgh’s top line, breaking through with two goals and two assists, the second one on Kreider’s game-winner. But it was how they did it this time around that is of note. The Rangers staved off elimination by storming back from a 2-0 deficit for the second time in as many games to defeat the Penguins, who were without star Sidney Crosby and are seemingly more and more shorthanded by the day.Īt this point, rallying from behind is like second nature for the Rangers. While set in a more contemporary time, Sleeping Dogs traverses the city of Hong Kong as a complete open world. There is a reason that the aesthetic trappings of most cyberpunk media seem to be lifted from Hong Kong: in real life the city’s highest illuminated echelons bear imposing shadows down upon the neon-flecked city streets below.
